SGA INVITED TO BUFFALO, MN, HIGH SCHOOL

SGA Group (SGA) principals Graham Sones (pictured) and Robert Gunderson recently were invited speakers at the 2023 Buffalo, MN High School, ‘Fall Speaker & Career Fair Fest,’ held for students at the high school. This event took place on November 13, 2023, at the Buffalo High School.

SGA presented career information on the profession of landscape architecture to two groups of approximately 35 students, total. Each presentation lasted 30 minutes.

SGA covered topics, such as, what landscape architects do, how they work with other disciplines, needed personal & professional skills, college-level courses and schools, and costs for education/earning potential.

SGA also presented examples of their planning and construction projects currently “on the boards,” to give the students an idea of how a design firm functions and the type of products being produced. 

SGA is a member of the Buffalo, MN, Chamber of Commerce. They were a coordinating body for the 2023 career fair and the group that asked SGA to speak at this event.
